Closed System Winching™

CLOSED SYSTEM WINCHING™ is a winching technique using rigging comprised entirely of closed link hardware. The non-closable opening of common winch hooks prevent hooks from qualifying as secure closed links.  Poorly constructed sheet metal safety latches of hooks do not qualify as a secure means to contain loads and are prone to failure, especially during momentary slack conditions where winch loads often shift and apply high forces to these weak non-structural latches.

Featuring Industry first Closed System Shackle Mount hole machined into the body of the hook, safety latch retraction pocket resulting in a clear throat opening, integrated secondary safety latch locking feature-latch locking pin stored in the body of the UltraHook which can be removed and inserted in to the hook tip, locking the latch into place.

Rope Retention Pulley | Off-road Recovery

The world’s first winch friction pulley with patented rope retention feature. A lightweight alternative to traditional heavy snatch blocks/pulleys. The RRP can be used to increase pulling power or redirect the winch line. The RRP is for use with synthetic rope only and is to be used in conjunction with a soft shackle.

FlatLink Products

The FlatLink shackle mount is the Industry’s first folding shackle mount for recovery winches. With less than 1.75 Inch of thickness, the Flatlink will work with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets. Conventional winch hooks can cut and fray recovery straps and often allow strap ends to escape during momentary slack cycles of a typical winching recovery.

Fast Fid | Rope Splicing Tool Demo

The Fast Fid is a rope splicing tool designed for rapid repairing or splicing of synthetic winch lines. No tape or other tools required. Trail repair takes only Minutes. No additional hardware or tape required to repair or splice your synthetic winch line.
