A patented rope splicing tool designed for 1/4”– 5/16” synthetic winch line.

Factor 55 now offers its popular Fast FID synthetic rope splicing tool in a smaller size, redesigned for narrower 1/4”– 5/16” diameter winch rope used in the powersports, industrial and agricultural industries. The XTV Fast Fid makes repairing smaller winch line quick and easy, taking just minutes with no other tools required.

The XTV Fast FID includes a machined aluminum needle anodized for corrosion protection and a stainless-steel crimp ferrule and wire-basket. The needle displays necessary laser-engraved rope bury data needed to make strong repairs. It also includes a Cordura carry pouch so you can bring the XTV Fast Fid on any adventure.
