With a hitch receiver shackle mount, easily convert your vehicle’s hitch receiver into a recovery point. Simply slide it into the receiver, secure it with a pin, and you’re ready to pull. Factor 55's HitchLinks are made from lightweight, super-strong CNC-machined 6000 series aluminum. All HitchLink products can be used with steel or soft shackles. Please see individual products for details.

Factor 55 HitchLink products are available in several versions. The HtichLink 2.0 is for vehicles with a two-inch trailer hitch, which are found on class III, IV, and V hitches. This is the most common configuration, and they’re available in a wide variety of colors. Next there’s the HitchLink Pro 2.0. This version has a larger, smoother-radiused hole, which is great for soft shackles. The Pro version can also be pinned into the receiver in two ways allowing the shackle attachment point to be in either a vertical or horizontal application for recovery options. The Pro version is only available in gunmetal.

For larger vehicles running a 2.5” trailer hitch (class V), there’s the HitchLink 2.5, which is available in gray or yellow finishes. The HitchLink Pro 2.5 is also available with the same features as the above-mentioned Pro version (gunmetal-only finish).

For the biggest, heaviest vehicles, we offer the HitchLink 3.0, for three-inch receivers (also class V). Rated at 18,000 lbs., it’s the biggest, strongest HitchLink in the lineup, and is available in gunmetal gray only.

No matter which you opt for, HitchLink products have been thoroughly tested by our lab experts to ensure the best, highest-quality hitch-mounted receiver shackle bracket on the market, bar none.

What is CLOSED SYSTEM WINCHINGTM?

Closed System Winching™ is a technique that uses rigging comprised entirely of closed-link hardware. The result is the most secure and reliable winch rigging available.
In Closed System Winching, the traditional hook is upgraded to a patented Factor 55 ProLink®, FlatLink®, or UltraHook® winch line shackle mount. When combined with a shackle, you’ll have an attachment that will contain loads even during momentary slack conditions where winch loads may shift. With Closed System Winching you get the extra security and confidence needed to tackle the most demanding winch recoveries.
