Level up your recovery versatility with Factor 55 tow straps, tree savers, and rigging. No matter what your vehicle recovery strap needs, we can meet and exceed them.
Factor 55 Tow Straps are available in two varieties: Standard Duty and Extreme Duty. Both are made from 100% low-stretch polyester for exceptional durability and are 30’ x 2”. They have reinforced eyes and a 31,000 lb. breaking strength. If you opt for the Extreme Duty strap, the entire strap is wrapped in abrasion-resistant Cordura for the ultimate in protection and durability.
Another take on straps is our Tree Saver. A versatile link to attach to trees or vehicles, this 8’ x 3” strap has a durable Coruda abrasion guard for reinforced eyes and webbing seams. This strap can also be used in a 4’ basket configuration, too.
Last but not least our Factor 55 Shorty Straps. Usable for a variety of applications, the Shorty Strap II is 2” wide and 3’ long; the Shorty Strap III 3” wide and 3’ long. You can use the Shorty Strap to field repair or straighten bent steering components, like tie rods or drag links. They can be used to attach to tubular parts such as stingers and nerf bars, and their flat shape prevents them from rolling off. Their low-stretch, low-energy storage means less recoil energy during a possible component failure, too.
All straps are individually serialized and properly labeled for different load configurations and, of course, made in the USA.
Closed System Winching™ is a technique that uses rigging comprised entirely of closed-link hardware. The result is the most secure and reliable winch rigging available.
In Closed System Winching, the traditional hook is upgraded to a patented Factor 55 ProLink®, FlatLink®, or UltraHook® winch line shackle mount. When combined with a shackle, you’ll have an attachment that will contain loads even during momentary slack conditions where winch loads may shift. With Closed System Winching you get the extra security and confidence needed to tackle the most demanding winch recoveries.
