When winching in abrasive environments, the WARN Rope Abrasion Sleeve can help protect your rope from trail hazards that can damage rope. This can extend the life of your synthetic rope and keep you on the trail.
Simply put, place the Abrasion Sleeve on the area where your synthetic rope will contact an abrasive surface. The rope will run through the sleeve protecting it from abrasion, thus protecting the rope. This can drastically extend your winch rope’s service life. The WARN Abrasion Sleeve has a hook-and-loop enclosure that can be removed from the winch line. The durable double-layered ballistic nylon construction also features reflective “GO PREPARED” slogan which is great for low-light recoveries.
The Ultraguard soft shackle and rope sleeve provides ballistic level protection against abrasion. Constructed of UHMWPE and polyester woven together, Ultraguard forms a long wearing and cut-resistant sleeve to reduce abrasion and friction from rope and shackle contact points. The Ultraguard can be used with soft shackles and winch lines up to ½”. It can also be used in conjunction with the Factor 55 Rope Retention Pulley. The Ultraguard is made in the USA.
